This 4 week experiential workshop series will include theory and practice for you to become familiar with a moving technique called Somatics as a way of taking control of your own health and wellbeing.
Learn how to regain control of your body with simple, gentle movements to release persistent muscle tension. The result is a pain-free body that moves well and ages gracefully.
Somatic movement can reduce or eliminate chronic pain, increase flexibility and range of motion, improve alignment/posture and restore vitality.
Open to all body types and abilities Somatics is complementary to most other forms of exercise and yoga. No experience necessary. Must be able to get up and down from the floor. Maximum 10 Participants.
Day/Time: Thursday’s, 1:00pm to 2:30pm
Date: February 1st to 22nd (4 sessions plus home exploration)
